Dao Jensen Dao Jensen has been in the tech industry for over 20 years. She founded Kaizen Technology Partners, now Oak Rocket, (OR) in 2013 as the first West Coast, female minority-owned company born in the Cloud. OR is based in Austin TX, and works with SMB, Startup, and Digital native clients to optimize their cloud journey on AWS. Some of Oak Rocket’s marquee clients are Upstart, Jackson Hewitt, Gainsight, Starburst, and Planful.
In Oak Rocket’s nine years of operation, the organization has earned many awards from the technology community – including Ingram Micro Cloud Most Valuable Player for 2021 and 2022, 5-consecutive-year Inc.5000 winner and won the WPO 50 Fastest-Growing Women/Led Companies of 2019, 2020 and 2022, USPAACC Fast50 of 2021 and 2022. Ms. Jensen has grown the company at an amazing pace since its inception. Oak Rocket is on a mission to be the United States leading minority-owned cloud enablement company by 2030. Dao is on the advisory board of Quinlan School of Business at Loyola University Chicago, and is a founding member of First Board.io and IEEW (Institute for Economic Empowerment of Women). She has been elected to the YPO Board for 2022. She is also a 2022 graduate of Harvard Business School’s OPM Executive program.

Dao is also a community activist, and mother of four. She loves reading, traveling, cooking food, and sharing a good meal with friends and family.
